Hey, I'm Chris.

I'm a Winnipeg photographer with a love for capturing real moments, genuine emotion and the people who make those moments meaningful.

I've been behind the camera since 2018, photographing weddings, engagements, portraits and events throughout Winnipeg and Manitoba. Over the years, I've learned that some of the best photographs aren't necessarily the ones you plan — they're the laugh between poses, the look nobody else noticed, or the reaction that happens while everyone thinks the camera is pointed somewhere else.

That's why my approach to weddings is a mix of candid storytelling and guided portraiture. I'll step in and give you direction when you need it, especially during portraits, but I also know when to get out of the way and simply document what's happening.

You don't need to know how to pose.

Seriously.

Most couples aren't professional models, and I don't expect you to be comfortable knowing exactly what to do in front of a camera.

That's my job.

I'll give you enough direction to make you look your best without turning your wedding day into one long photoshoot. My goal is for you to spend less time thinking about the camera and more time actually enjoying the people you've chosen to celebrate with.

A little more about me

Photography is only one part of my creative life. I'm also a musician and videographer, and I've spent years working in live events — environments where important moments happen once and you have to be ready for them.

Outside of work, I'm a husband and dad, which has probably made me appreciate photographs differently than I did when I first picked up a camera. The perfectly posed photographs are beautiful, but sometimes it's the seemingly ordinary moments between people that become the photographs you value the most years later.

That's ultimately what I want to give my couples: beautiful portraits for the wall and real moments that bring you back to how the day actually felt.
